The Greater Salem Area Foundation has announced the Evening of Honors will return this year, to be held Thursday, March 31, 2022.

Each spring, the Foundation partners with the Greater Salem Chamber and Salem Times Commoner to honor the significant contributions of individuals, organizations, and businesses in our community. See highlights from the 2020 Evening of Honors, truly a heartwarming and inspirational group of recipients this year!

CALL FOR NOMINATIONS

The foundation is now seeking nominations for the annual Evening of Honors banquet to be held Thursday, March 31, 2022.  The Evening of Honors recognizes the significant community contributions of individuals, organizations, and businesses in Salem.  Award categories include Public Servant, Educator, Civic Achievement, Businessman, Boss of the Year, Civic Organization, Humanitarian, and Lifetime Achievement.

Please submit nominations to the Greater Salem Area Foundation, PO Box 1314, Salem, IL 62881, or via email at salemilfoundation@gmail.com.  Nomination deadline is Friday, March 4, 2022.

AN EVENING OF HONORS, 2020

Five awards were presented at the Salem Chamber, Salem Founation, and Salem-Times Commoner's 14th annual Evening of Honors.  Those honored include: (back row)  Paul Jones, Randy Donoho, Pastor Doug Meyer, and Josh Dice; and (front row) Emily Rose and Shelli McIntosh.
